‘stillness in motion’ collection

coming soon….

releasing in 2025

Walking through nature — on a trail, a path, or up an incline — holds a certain magic. It’s a journey that invites both challenge and surrender, where the rhythm of each step calls us to deeper attention. In the quiet of these moments, when the noise of the world fades, there is space to turn inward. The stillness of the earth mirrors a stillness within us, and the act of simply being outdoors becomes an exploration: of the landscape ahead, of possibility, of self.

This collection captures the reflective, introspective energy that comes with walking in nature — the kind of experience that feels both humbling and expansive. The climb is deliberate and demanding, but its rewards are abundant. A breath of fresh air, a sense of clarity, and the quiet thrill of discovery that greets you when the view opens up.

These paintings are an invitation to pause and embrace the duality of these moments — the effort and the ease, the movement and the stillness. My hope is that they evoke the calm, wonder, and connection that walking in nature brings. That they might feel like a gentle call to listen more deeply, not just to the earth, but to yourself.

I can’t wait to hear how this collection resonates with you.

‘happiness in solitude’ collection

July 2024

In this collection, I draw inspiration from Austin’s very own Greenbelt and Barton Springs. This collection is an ode to the vibrant energy of lush summer greenery, where nature's palette shifts to deep, earthy greens and brilliant bursts of sunlight filtering through the foliage.

As the air grew warmer, I found myself wanting to explore more of the landscape I live in — sunset hikes, waterfall pursuits, morning runs, and dips into barton spring. each painting in this series is a testament to these moments of quiet contemplation and awe-inspiring natural beauty.

Exploring a palette rich with mossy greens and bright sunlit moments, I aimed to capture the essence of the play of light and shadow, the dance of reflections on flowing creeks, and the gentle sway of leaves in the breeze. Just as this nature offers a sanctuary of peace and renewal, I hope this collection resonates with a sense of serenity and connection to the natural world. May these paintings invite you to pause, immerse yourself in the beauty that surrounds you, and discover moments of tranquility and wonder amidst the bustling world around us.

individual works

2023

While most of my work emerges in collections, these individual pieces from 2023 stand on their own—each a reflection of my ongoing connection to nature. They carry the same exploration of form, texture, and movement that runs through all my work, offering glimpses into moments of inspiration outside a broader theme.

drop cloth paintings

These drop cloth paintings emerged from my fluid painting process. As I pour and move paint, the drips and splatters create their own unique marks. And with each layer, I realized my space had transformed into a finished work of its own. My goal with these works is to share and celebrate the unique beauty of unexpected creativity and spontaneity.
